Iyabo Ojo responds to Verydarkman in a fiery TikTok live session, denying his claims that she backed out of a promised public apology to singer Naira Marley and music promoter Sam Larry.

The actress’s rebuttal comes after Verydarkman shared details of a closed-door meeting at the Nigeria Police Force National Cybercrime Centre (NPF NCCC) involving both parties and their legal teams.
He alleged that Iyabo had agreed to apologize publicly for previously linking Naira Marley and Sam Larry to Mohbad’s death but later refused.

In her response, Iyabo described Verydarkman as “deceitful and corny,” accusing him of manipulative behavior.
“You’ve tried in all your might to bring me down, but you cannot,” she said confidently.
Iyabo defended her initial stance, saying it was based on disturbing online footage following Mohbad’s death in 2023 including videos showing alleged bullying by Sam Larry and a clip of Naira Marley dancing shortly after the tragedy.

“As a concerned citizen and a mother, I used my platforms,” she added, reaffirming her motivations.
