Known as Queen Diva or Didee on social media, Esther confirmed that her transition into adult content creation was a personal decision, not a consequence of Nigeria “failing her,” as widely reported.

“I am educated. I made a decision and I stand by that decision,” she said in a self-recorded video. “My choice wasn’t about lack. It was about freedom. About control. Yes, about money, too. Because let’s be honest, I have bills.”

Esther, who hails from Akwa Ibom State and holds a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Uyo, rejected the widespread narrative that hardship drove her into the adult industry.

Instead, she said her motivation was rooted in freedom, self-expression, and a desire to build life on her own terms.

“I’m not defending myself. I am saying my truth… I am both soft and strong. Sexual and smart. I am not living a double life — I am living my life,” she stated.

Raised in a strict Christian household, Esther served as Assistant Senior Prefect in secondary school and had dreams typical of many Nigerian students.

But like many graduates, she faced an uncertain future after university — one that no classroom had prepared her for.

Her heartbreak-led move from Abuja to Lagos, her struggle to cope with Lagos’ fast pace, and her eventual return in 2024 paint a picture of a young woman navigating her twenties in a society that often imposes rigid expectations.

Now based in Lekki Phase 1, she identifies as a remote social media manager and full-time adult content creator while also building a soft-care brand for women in their twenties.

Esther admitted her family’s initial reaction was difficult. “It wasn’t a joke. It took years before I could talk to my parents again,” she said. She also lost friends — though some remained by her side.
