Erigga criticises ongoing Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez feud, warning it damages Nigerian hip-hop culture and unity

Erigga has openly criticised the ongoing feud between Odumodublvck and Blaqbonez, warning that it is harming the reputation of Nigerian hip-hop.

Speaking in an interview on Yanga FM, Erigga said the tension between the artists is forcing fans and fellow rappers to take sides, which ultimately damages the culture.

“Fans often enjoy seeing rappers clash, but this feud is giving hip-hop a negative image,” Erigga explained. He stressed that attention should be on celebrating achievements rather than conflicts.

According to Erigga, rap battles are a part of the culture, but the current fight is creating unnecessary divisions. “This isn’t just a friendly competition. It’s causing tension and inviting outsiders to criticise our music,” he added.

Erigga’s comments come as Nigerian hip-hop continues to grow on the global stage. He urged artists and fans alike to prioritise unity and focus on constructive contributions to the scene.
