Danielle Edochie shared her views through a Snapchat post where she addressed discussions around some women being attracted to the wealth associated with internet fraudsters, popularly referred to as “Yahoo boys” in Nigeria.

The influencer acknowledged that financial stability is important but maintained that she would not compromise her values or associate with individuals involved in illegal activities because of money.

“I’ll never be in my right senses and decide to date a Yahoo boy. Ladies may be attracted to the huge amount of money those guys make, but not me. I love money too, but please, just stay far away from me,” Danielle said.

Her comments have generated conversations online about relationships, financial expectations and the pressure some young people face when choosing partners based on material success.

Danielle’s position comes amid ongoing public discussions in Nigeria about internet fraud and the social influence of individuals who display luxury lifestyles linked to questionable sources of income.

The daughter of the veteran actor has built a presence online through lifestyle content and personal opinions, often engaging followers on issues affecting young people and modern relationships.
