Brain Jotter speaks out after alleged harassment by Lagos touts, sharing a video of the confrontation and criticising the incident

Nigerian content creator Brain Jotter has spoken out after allegedly being harassed by a group of Lagos touts, popularly known as agberos, on a road in Lagos on August 12, 2026, with the comedian sharing a video of the confrontation on Instagram.

The incident appeared to leave Brain Jotter frustrated, particularly after the group allegedly prevented him from passing freely and demanded payment from him.

In the video shared by the content creator, one of the men involved could be heard saying, “I be lion”, as the confrontation unfolded around Brain Jotter’s vehicle.

Brain Jotter responded with a sarcastic remark that reflected his anger over the encounter.

“Lion no dey use eyes see goat. Nigerian zoo keepers are the worst. We lack good wild-life and they let a lion escape from their zoo. This is sad,” he wrote.

The post quickly drew attention online, with the video providing a glimpse into an uncomfortable encounter that has renewed familiar concerns about roadside harassment and informal levies faced by motorists in parts of Lagos.
