Nigerian singer Oniyide Azeez, known professionally as Zinoleesky, on Monday in Lagos refuted reports claiming he had severed ties with record label chief Naira Marley, insisting that he remains signed to Marlian Music. Zinoleesky denies rift allegations in a public statement issued through his Instagram account.

Zinoleesky said the speculation circulating online was unfounded and designed to create tension within the music community.

He stressed that his relationship with label founder Naira Marley had not changed and described the rumour as a distraction from his work.

According to him, many young artistes are routinely denied fair treatment, a trend he believes must be addressed for the sector to thrive.
