VeryDarkMan criticises President Tinubu’s administration as fuel prices exceed ₦1,000 per litre, calling it Nigeria’s most corrupt government

Social media commentator VeryDarkMan has launched a scathing attack on President Bola Tinubu’s administration, describing it as “the worst thing that has ever happened to Nigeria” amid record-high fuel prices surpassing ₦1,000 per litre.

In a post shared on Monday, VeryDarkMan condemned the government for what he called systemic theft and mismanagement.

“They lied, they stole, and they want to continue stealing. President Tinubu is a failure. At the point where you took us from, it was much better than this,” he wrote.

The commentator also referenced his warnings from early 2023, alleging that subsidy removal was a means for government officials to exploit public funds.

“It was even better when they were paying for the subsidy; at least there was a budget of money meant for the benefit of Nigerians,” he said.

VeryDarkMan extended his criticism to the education sector, claiming scholarships under the Tinubu administration have left students stranded abroad.

“Till tomorrow we still dey cry say our public schools are failing the children, dey give scholarship in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s regime plenty of them dey for Morocco stranded dey cry,” he stated.

He further warned that internet shutdowns and other government measures could expose more systemic issues.

“Everything I said has come to past. When people doubt me, look at it now. Na the same go shut down internet, na that time Nigerians go know say problem dey o wey you no dey see,” he added.
