South African singer Tyla leads Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats chart for 2025, beating Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy

South African singer Tyla has been named the biggest U.S. Afrobeats artist of 2025 by Billboard, surpassing Nigerian stars Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy.

Billboard released its year-end U.S. Afrobeats Songs Artists 2025 list, recognising artists with the strongest streaming, radio, and sales performance in the United States.

Tyla occupies the number one spot, followed by Wizkid at number two, Rema at three, Davido at four, and Burna Boy at five.

American-Ghanaian singer Moliy, alongside Nigeria’s Asake, Shallipopi, Seyi Vibez, and BNXN, complete the top ten.

The chart further features Fola, Tems, Olamide, Fido, Ayra Starr, Omah Lay, Chella, Kizz Daniel, Zinoleesky, and T.I Blaze in positions 11 to 20.

British-Nigerian artists Odeal, Young John, Odumodublvck, Kunmie, and Ayo Maff round out the list, reflecting Afrobeats’ growing global reach and influence.
