Spotify’s top Nigerian songs 2025 reveal Rema, Davido, and Burna Boy leading global streams with Afrobeats hits that continue Nigeria’s musical dominance
Spotify has released the chart for the top Nigerian songs 2025, showcasing the most streamed tracks globally by Nigerian artists in the first half of the year.

Rema led the chart with Baby (Is It A Crime), while Shallipopi’s Laho secured second place. Davido’s With You featuring Omah Lay followed in third.
The global list celebrates the surge of Afrobeats. “To be recognised at this level proves that African music is global now,” Rema said after the news broke.
Davido appeared nine times, all from his album 5ive. Burna Boy also featured five times, confirming both stars’ sustained international appeal.
Other notable entries in the top 10 include Chella’s My Darling, Burna Boy’s Tatata featuring Travis Scott, and Coldplay’s We Pray featuring Burna Boy.
