Two social media users, Saheed Jamiu Osama and Uyime Godwin Udoekwere, have been remanded by a Federal High Court in Lagos.

The duo was arraigned before Justice Ibrahim Kala on multiple charges, including conspiracy, cyberstalking, and defamation, following a protest where they accused Omowunmi Aloba, widow of the late singer Mohbad, of murder.

The protest featured placards reading: “Wunmi Killed Mohbad! Period! E No Go Better For Wunmi”, which circulated widely on social media platforms.

As the accusations intensified online, legal action followed swiftly.

The judge ordered that the two TikTokers be kept at Ikoyi Correctional Centre until the commencement of their prosecution, which is set for September 25, 2025.
