Nigerian rapper and actor Teddy A has sparked fresh conversation online following a recent comment about his marriage to actress Bam Bam, amid ongoing speculation about their relationship.

During an appearance on Pop and Prime in a “ten things he treasures” segment, Teddy A listed several personal items, including his car, jewellery, and private space. However, it was his mention of his wedding ring that drew the most attention.

“My ring, my wedding ring, it symbolises my status, being married, it’s important to me, I treasure it a lot,” he said. He also added that three tattoos bearing his children’s names — Jaiden, Zendaya, and Maya — serve as constant reminders of his responsibilities as a father.

The comment has since gone viral, with many social media users linking it to ongoing rumours surrounding his marriage to Bam Bam.

Speculation about tension in the couple’s relationship began intensifying in late 2025 after both stars shared separate Christmas photoshoots, sparking “trouble in paradise” conversations online.

The rumours escalated further in February 2026 when fans noticed that Teddy A and Bam Bam had unfollowed each other on Instagram.

This development reignited public debate about the status of their over five-year marriage.

Additional moments that fueled speculation included Teddy A’s International Women’s Day post, where Bam Bam was notably absent from his list of important women in his life.

Around the same period, the couple also shared separate posts celebrating their daughter’s birthday.

Bam Bam also appeared without her wedding ring during this period, while later updating her Instagram bio to reflect her maiden name, Bambam Olawunmi, further intensifying public discussions.

Earlier in the year, Bam Bam’s on-screen chemistry with actor Uzor Arukwe in Love in Every Word also contributed to online conversations, although Arukwe later clarified he sought her consent before filming intimate scenes.
