The actor faulted the government’s inability to protect lives and property, following recent violent incidents, including the killing of a teacher in Oyo State and ongoing attacks in Plateau State.

Olabanji questioned the government’s response to the worsening security situation, describing the continued loss of lives as unacceptable and deeply troubling.

Speaking in pidgin during a video shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday, he expressed frustration over the rising death toll across the country.

“On your mandate we dey cry, on your mandate them dey cry, on your mandate people dey die,” he said.

“Nigerians are being killed every minute. And you are not afraid of God who created heaven and earth. You’ve turned the citizens’ lives to kite, they are being killed every day, and you are not responsive.”

In his post caption, Olabanji further urged the government to prioritise the welfare of citizens, stressing that governance should reflect improvements in basic infrastructure and living conditions.

“If you can’t give Nigerians good electricity, better roads, if you can’t remove hunger in the country, if you can’t bring down fuel price, kindly give Nigerians good security,” he wrote.
