Taking to Instagram, Spyro shared how after leaving his former label in 2019, he started his own music label without external financial support, relying on bank and personal loans.

He revealed that some team members pushed him to drop his ‘Jesus Boy’ brand and remove “Christ Ambassador” from his profile, fearing it would limit his success in the industry.

“It quickly turned into a big fight. I said I would rather DIE than remove Jesus from my profile,” Spyro wrote, explaining that he understood their concerns but refused to compromise his identity.

Even when offered the softer term “child of God,” Spyro stood firm, confident that the faith he proclaims would pave the way for his success.

Recently, one team member called to acknowledge Spyro’s resilience amid a tough industry climate, saying, “A lot of artistes are suffering now, no deals, no shows but you are in a very good place and I am proud of you.”
