In a post shared via his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Small Doctor advised commuters to be extremely cautious when boarding Korope minibuses especially those that operate with conductors.

“If you come across a mini bus (Korope) with a conductor, please do not board. Do Not Board. Do not board. 90% of them have another agenda. Be vigilant,” he wrote.

The bold claim suggests that many of these minibuses could be linked to criminal or suspicious activities, posing a potential threat to unsuspecting passengers.

The Small Doctor Korope warning has quickly gone viral, with many Nigerians expressing both alarm and gratitude for the timely caution. Some social media users echoed the singer’s concerns, sharing stories of harrowing experiences involving minibuses with conductors.

Korope minibuses are a common form of transport in Lagos and other urban centers, often used for short intra-city trips. However, the singer’s warning casts a shadow over their safety, particularly when paired with informal or unregistered operators.

While no official police statement has yet confirmed the claims, Small Doctor’s influence and massive following have made the warning hard to ignore.
