The award-winning artist, known for hits such as Bad Energy Stay Far Away, made the appeal in a video broadcast in which he urged global celebrities and the wider international community to speak up for Nigerians facing systemic challenges.

Skepta said Nigerians remain resilient despite long-standing difficulties but insisted that the scale of injustice in the country can no longer be ignored.

“There is so much injustice in Nigeria,” he said. “Whenever I can, whether at my shows, verbally or through images, I will continue to speak up.”

The rapper stressed that his message was not a one-off statement but part of an ongoing commitment to advocate for awareness around social issues affecting Nigerians both at home and abroad.

According to him, many Nigerians continue to endure hardship in silence while projecting strength to the outside world, a reality he described as deeply troubling.

“Nigerians need help. We need people to speak up for us as well. We need to protect Nigerians,” Skepta added, urging the global community not to overlook the situation.

The appeal has sparked renewed conversation online, with supporters praising the artist for using his platform to highlight social concerns beyond music.
