The reality TV star and Big Brother Naija winner has remained vocal since the incident, accusing the company of negligence and evasive conduct in the wake of her family’s loss.

In a recent emotional video circulating on social media, Phyna alleged that her family has been denied justice and fair compensation. She described Dangote Group’s handling of the matter as a “deceptive game,” fuelling public outrage and sympathy online.

“It’s been weeks of silence, disrespect, and delay. My sister was killed, and nothing has been done. No real accountability, no resolution. We deserve justice,” she said tearfully.

The Phyna calls out Dangote controversy has now attracted comments from public figures, including relationship blogger Blessing CEO, who advised the media personality to take a more strategic approach.

“Phyna, I keep seeing you all over my timeline. You need to get a SAN (Senior Advocate of Nigeria). People won’t take you seriously if you keep ranting online. This case is already looking like a joke,” Blessing said in a video response.

She urged Phyna to hire a competent legal team, warning that excessive online outbursts could jeopardise the family’s legal prospects.

“There are better ways to go about this. You don’t use gra gra to get compensation. Now is the time for calm, for focus, and for proper legal steps,” she added.

Phyna, however, has defended her public approach, stating that silence has yielded no result and that media pressure has become her only tool for visibility and accountability.

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) previously confirmed an incident involving a Dangote truck but has yet to issue a detailed public report. Meanwhile, Ruth Otabor has been buried amid tears and growing calls for justice.

The Phyna calls out Dangote saga highlights ongoing concerns about corporate responsibility and accountability in Nigeria, especially in road traffic-related deaths.

As the Otabor family continues their quest for justice, attention is now shifting toward whether formal legal action will be taken — and if Dangote Group will respond substantively.
