The Migos rapper, born Kiari Cephus, dismissed claims that he was romantically involved with Saweetie, the ex-girlfriend of his late cousin and group member, Takeoff.
“That whole Saweetie thing was just weird,” he told Palmer.
“It wasn’t true. It just got out of hand.”
While he refuted that specific rumour, Offset admitted that his own infidelity was the cause of the breakdown of his marriage to Cardi B, with whom he shares two children.
“I messed up, and it cost me my marriage,” he said bluntly.
The rapper, who has faced both public scrutiny and personal tragedy, said he is still recovering from the death of Takeoff, who was shot and killed in 2022.
