Cardi B divorce delay continues as she refuses Offset’s demands for property transfer and tax payments amid separation and new pregnancy.
The divorce delay of Cardi B has become a major talking point after the rapper revealed that although she and her estranged husband Offset are legally separated, their divorce has not yet been finalised due to unresolved financial demands.

During a livestream on X Spaces on 22 September 2025, Cardi B claimed Offset is insisting she pay his taxes and hand over one of her properties before he signs the divorce papers.
She said she pays her own taxes, but refuses to comply with these terms.
Cardi emphasised that their marriage of seven years ended long before now, though the legal separation is the only thing completed.
She expressed frustration at being “held hostage” by what she sees as unfair demands.
On top of this, Cardi confirmed that she is expecting a fourth child, this time with her new partner, NFL star Stefon Diggs. Despite still being legally married to Offset, she made it clear she is moving forward with her life.
