The guard, Jim Sanchez, alleged the incident occurred in March while he was on duty at MedMen LAX. He claims he asked Offset to show his ID, which allegedly sparked a confrontation, resulting in Offset punching him in the face.

Sanchez said members of Offset’s crew then joined the altercation, leaving him with severe neck pain and headaches that required hospital treatment.

Sanchez is now suing Offset for assault, battery, and infliction of emotional distress.

Offset’s representatives have strongly denied the claims, describing them as “complete lies.” They insist the guard charged at the rapper and even spat on him, prompting the confrontation. Eyewitnesses reportedly told TMZ that the guard responded by spraying mace at Offset and his entourage.
