Controversial Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, has ignited a stir within the hip hop industry with a bold statement about his hit track “Declan Rice.”

In an interview with The Beat 99.9 FM in Lagos, the outspoken artist dismissed critics who question his rap credentials.

He asserted that their disapproval stems from intimidation over his rapid rise to fame. He claimed that “Declan Rice,” his 2023 breakthrough single, stands as the most culturally impactful Nigerian hip-hop song in the world.

He cited its prominent use by English football club Arsenal to announce their record signing of midfielder Declan Rice as key evidence.

“In the history of Nigerian hip-hop, no Nigerian song has had more impact in the world like Declan Rice. It is the biggest digital asset ever on Arsenal’s social media. Check it,” he stated confidently.

Odumodublvck also referenced his recent collaborative work, “Good Devil Wells White,” with Larry G, highlighting that his artistry spans multiple languages and styles, including English, Patois, and vernacular.

He challenged his detractors further, stating, “Which rap line has more cultural impact than my line in ‘Cast’? What metrics are we using? But they said I’m not a rapper.
