The call was made during the 1st nursing induction ceremony of Gregory University, Uturu, where 21 pioneer nurses and midwives officially joined the profession.

The event was marked by spirited speeches encouraging academic advancement, dedication, and compassionate care.

Alhassan described the Bachelor of Nursing Science as a high-standard programme aimed at producing professionals equipped with knowledge, clinical skills, and critical intelligence.

He stressed the need for inductees to continuously learn, particularly during the internship phase which has been mandatory since 2017.

“Be willing to learn from colleagues already working in clinical areas. Accept corrections, improve, and make positive adjustments. Always be good ambassadors of the nursing profession,” he urged.
