Comedian and singer Nasboi has written an emotional open letter to music legend Innocent “2Baba” Idibia, urging him to address ongoing controversies surrounding his personal life.

In the letter, Nasboi expressed heartbreak over circulating online videos and news, highlighting the admiration and respect he has held for 2Baba since his teenage years.

He praised the singer’s humility, character, and the inspiration he provided to fans across generations.

“Dear King 2Face Idibia @official2baba. I feel genuinely heartbroken seeing some of the embarrassing videos and news about you circulating online. It hurts because you have always been my mentor. I’ve looked up to you since I was 16. I loved every bit of your music, your personality, and the humility you carried yourself,” Nasboi wrote.

The comedian emphasised that the singer’s current situation presents a side of him unfamiliar to fans and urged 2Baba to reclaim control of his public image.

He also referenced a song that resonated with the circumstances, appealing for reflection and restoration of his respected persona.

“We still believe in you. We still admire you. We still want to see the 2Baba we grew up respecting. This message is from a boy who has loved you since he was 16. I chose this particular song because suddenly, the lyrics hit differently. With respect, love, and deep concern, a loyal fan,” Nasboi added.
