Lojay opens up on Folashade Adeleke, finally addressing widespread rumors linking him romantically to the daughter of Osun State governor.

The singer-songwriter revealed that their connection is purely platonic, describing her as his closest friend.

“Fola is literally my best friend. From the very first day I met her, I just knew she was different. She’s the only woman in the 30BG crew, and she holds it down for everybody. Since then, we just clicked and have been good friends ever since,” Lojay said.

Amid speculation about his love life, the Afrobeats star admitted he is not ready to commit to any romantic relationship. Instead, he plans to focus on personal growth and healing.

“Unfortunately for me, I’m not ready for a relationship yet. Some people assume that means you’re messing around, but that’s not my reality. Sometimes, people genuinely need time to heal from past experiences, and that’s where I am right now,” he explained.
