Drug Suspect Arrested Near LASUSTECH
LASUSTECH drug dealer arrest has thrown the Ikorodu First Gate area into confusion and fear as a dramatic chase unfolded this evening near Lagos State University of Science and Technology.
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency pursued and apprehended a young man suspected of local drug trafficking.
The chase began at the busy Flower Market, where NDLEA officers first identified the suspect.
He attempted to flee through pedestrian walkways, weaving between startled students and traders. The pursuit ended near the Narry King restaurant, a well-known location close to campus.

Students and bystanders gathered in disbelief as officers restrained the suspect.
“It felt like something out of a film. People were running, shouting, and confused about what was happening,” said one student who witnessed the arrest.
Several individuals at the scene claimed that substances suspected to be illegal drugs were found on the suspect at the time of his arrest.
Although no official statement has been issued by the NDLEA, their officers secured the area swiftly and took the man into custody without resistance.
