Klintoncod accuses Prophet Fufeyin in a viral Instagram video that has sparked widespread debate across Nigerian social media platforms.

The popular comedian, whose real name is Ekene Clinton Egbuna, levelled serious allegations against the controversial preacher, claiming he deceives his followers for financial gain.

In the video shared on Sunday, Klintoncod condemned the self-styled prophet for allegedly selling miracle products to a trusting congregation.

He argued that these practices have nothing to do with Christian faith and are rooted in greed and manipulation.

He specifically mentioned instances where Prophet Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin marketed sand in plastic packaging, claiming it had divine powers to build houses.

Klintoncod mocked the concept, questioning how such items could be linked to genuine spirituality. His remarks highlighted the frustration many Nigerians feel towards individuals who, in his words, “package deceit as religion.”

According to the content creator, Fufeyin represents a broader issue plaguing Nigerian Christianity. He expressed outrage over the church members who support the clergyman blindly, referring to them as victims of exploitation.

Klintoncod further suggested that, in a just society, such behaviour would attract legal consequences or mental evaluation.

The comedian did not mince words as he called the prophet a nuisance to Christianity. He described Fufeyin’s followers as gullible and suggested that their ignorance enables such religious manipulation.

His criticism went beyond the individual to examine how religious deception thrives in an environment where critical thinking is lacking.

Klintoncod’s bold attack comes in the wake of other controversies surrounding the cleric. Previous reports have criticised Prophet Fufeyin for distributing so-called miracle soap and for making sensational prophecies.

By using his platform to speak out, Klintoncod may have reignited an old debate around religious accountability in Nigeria.
