Kaffy Drives Bold Collaboration at Lagos IWD Forum

Kaffy IWD forum Lagos brings leaders together for collaboration, empowerment and strategic growth at a major women’s event

Renowned Nigerian dance icon Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, alongside cultural figure Yeye Falashade Shona and other notable personalities, is set to headline a “Power of Collaboration” forum organised by the GAH Elite Club in Lagos on 11 April as part of celebrations marking International Women’s Day 2026.

The event, scheduled to hold at Lekki Phase 1, is designed to emphasise unity, creativity and shared purpose among women across diverse sectors.

Organisers say the gathering will bring together leaders from business, media and enterprise in a bid to strengthen cross-industry partnerships.

Princess Oghene, founder of the GAH Elite Club, described the initiative in a statement issued on Tuesday through Media Consultant Bolatito Adebola as a platform aimed at advancing global conversations around women’s empowerment while delivering measurable outcomes.

She characterised the 2026 edition as “a strategic convergence of influence, leadership, and transformation,” noting that the forum is intended to move beyond symbolic celebration towards actionable engagement.

Kaffy IWD forum Lagos is expected to serve as a focal point for structured dialogue and collaboration.

“We are moving beyond celebration into structure; beyond conversations into execution,” Oghene said, stressing that the forum encourages women to engage more deliberately and strategically in leadership spaces.

According to her, the theme reflects a broader shift within the GAH ecosystem towards intentional alliances, marking what she described as an evolution from awareness to action and from presence to positioning.

The initiative, she added, is designed to address gaps in sustained collaboration among high impact women.

Oghene further explained that the programme will focus on strategic positioning, visibility, enterprise growth, wealth creation, leadership influence, policy engagement and media presence.

She noted that the forum is outcome driven rather than attendance driven, with an emphasis on tangible impact.

The event will feature keynote addresses and panel discussions from female leaders across education, finance, media and enterprise.

Among the expected speakers are Ambassador Dr Kirti Sudhanshu, Dr Carolyna Hutchings, media personality Anita Natacha, known as Symply Tacha, executive strategist Abiola Adelana, entrepreneur Delphine Okoronkwo, Seyi Amao, Esohe Igbinobia and Adaeze Chioma Ahubarezeama.

Oghene said the speakers were selected based on demonstrated leadership, resilience and execution, adding that the forum will convene corporate executives, entrepreneurs, global professionals and media figures in a setting aimed at fostering collaboration and exchange of ideas.

International Women’s Day, observed globally on 8 March, celebrates the achievements of women and advocates gender equality.

Although the Lagos forum is taking place weeks after the official date, organisers said it remains aligned with the broader objectives of the global movement.
