Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo denies arrest, criticises fake news, and urges fans to ignore misleading reports

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has refuted circulating reports that she was arrested by the Nigerian Police, describing the claims as false and misleading.

During a TikTok livestream, Iyabo Ojo addressed the rumours, stressing that those responsible for spreading them are doing so unnecessarily to cause panic and unrest.

She warned that such fabricated news only seeks to gain traffic and generate money at the expense of public trust.

“To you all rumour mongers that spread fake news about me, it shall not be well with you. Who did they arrest? Your fake news always makes my fans worried, and they start calling to check on me.

You are heaping curses on your head because I am a special being. Anyone that wishes me bad, it will go back to the sender,” she stated emphatically.
