Nollywood actress Faithia Williams has unveiled the burial arrangements for her late mother, Mrs. Gloria Uzoamaka Williams, weeks after announcing her passing.

The actress lost her mother last month on the eve of her 55th birthday celebration.

Reports indicate that close associates temporarily withheld the heartbreaking news to allow her mark the milestone without being overwhelmed by grief.

In an earlier tribute, Faithia described her mother as her “cheerleader, prayer warrior, best friend and gist partner,” noting that the reality of the loss had yet to fully sink in.

Sharing a flier of the funeral programme on social media, the grieving actress revealed that a wake-keep will hold on Friday, March 6, followed by a lying-in-state and interment.

A thanksgiving mass is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, at St. Monica Catholic Church.

Faithia emphasized that the ceremonies will be strictly private and by invitation only, limited to close family members and friends.

“I want to specifically thank everyone who has reached out since the demise of my dear mother. I’m truly grateful for the emotional support, the calls, the visits, and the show of love. May Allah (SWT) bless you all,” she said.

Addressing inquiries about the burial details, she explained that the family opted for a private ceremony, adding that a later date will be announced for a larger final burial event open to the public.

She also cautioned that only invitations sent from designated numbers will be honored at the venue, stressing that there will be no admission without proper confirmation.

Faithia concluded by expressing heartfelt appreciation to fans and well-wishers for their unwavering support during the difficult period, noting that she does not take their love and solidarity for granted.
