The former reggae-dancehall sensation, known for hits like German Juice, has clarified her current status following the circulation of an old video that raised fresh alarms about her health and financial situation.

In a social media video, Morgan addressed fans directly: “I’d like to let everybody know that I’m well. Thank you all for your concern. I might not be able to respond to every message, but I see them and I appreciate them.”

She confirmed that the video in question was over a year old and no longer reflects her present reality.

The singer, who now goes by the name Madrina, acknowledged the support of well-meaning fans, including one who created a GoFundMe campaign on her behalf.

However, Morgan expressed discomfort with public fundraising efforts, citing a painful past experience. A previous GoFundMe initiative, she said, collapsed after the organiser claimed it had been shut down, leaving her without access to the funds—except for what was sent directly to her.

“I think I’m quite maybe traumatised with the idea of setting up a GoFundMe again,” she admitted, explaining her reluctance to reintroduce crowdfunding into her life.

Morgan then announced a decisive career change. “My immediate goal or my future goal is not to get back to music,” she stated. Instead, she revealed plans to enter real estate and pursue ministry work, promising to share more information about these ventures soon.

Reflecting on her music career, Morgan said she had no regrets but admitted she did not receive what she truly deserved from the industry. “I was very passionate about music… but after what I went through, I feel like it was basically a detour to take me back to my original self.”

Though she has not completely ruled out making music in future, Morgan made it clear that any return would be purely for enjoyment. “If I ever decide to do music again, it would just be for the fun of it… I don’t know what tomorrow holds.”

She ended her message with appreciation for her supporters and a cautionary note to anyone considering donations. She reminded the public that her decision to leave music was intentional and final—for now.
