Comedy Abula Mix by Larry J hits London this October, blending Nigerian humour, live music, and culture in a night of laughter and shared heritage

Comedy Abula Mix, the brainchild of award-winning Nigerian comedian and event host Olanrewaju Gregory, popularly known as Larry J, is set to return on 19 October 2025 at St. Michael’s Church Hall, East Wickham Welling, London.

The show promises a vibrant blend of Nigerian comedy, culture, and cuisine, featuring McLarryJ, his friends, and surprise acts from across the UK.

Larry J confirmed that this year’s edition will include a live band performance—a new addition set to heighten the immersive atmosphere.

“The lineup is always a surprise, but I can tell you that it’s going to be epic,” said Larry J. “We’re introducing a live band performance which will add a new dimension to the show.”

Comedy Abula Mix was inspired by the overwhelming success of Larry J’s earlier Mother’s Day special, which concluded with a laughter-filled comedy night.

That positive reception laid the foundation for what is now evolving into an annual cultural experience.

“To bring a taste of Nigeria to the UK, Abula Comedy Night was the perfect platform,” he said. “The first event was a huge success with a full house. Seeing people from all walks of life enjoy comedy and Nigerian delicacies was unforgettable.”
