In a series of videos posted to his Instagram page on Monday, Brymo delved into controversial topics including cultism, spiritual symbolism, and the Yoruba deity Èṣù.

He further linked these to personal experiences during his time at LASU, his music career, and even criticized Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka.

“I can assert this because his people tried to demonize, and ‘kill’ me… and SHAITAN does not forgive… I am SHAITAN in the flesh… I am Èṣù… I am the wizard surrounding his existence too…,” Brymo said, addressing Soyinka directly.

The singer claimed that attempts were made to silence or “eliminate” him due to spiritual or ideological conflicts, describing these efforts as “killer movements” allegedly connected to cult groups and academic influence.

The videos quickly went viral, drawing criticism, confusion, and concern from fans and social media users, many of whom struggled to grasp the meaning behind his metaphysical declarations.

In a follow-up post, Brymo appeared to embrace a divine identity, further stating:

“A boy who has the mind of a man and a woman all wrapped in one body—me, emi ni Esu… I am telling you that I have experiences… I have been here long before him, before anyone of you.”
