The tour has included stops in Sandown, Nairobi, and Lagos, designed to solidify her presence across the continent and introduce her distinctive sound to new audiences.

Azuredé, known for blending Amapiano, Afro-house, and her signature Three-Step style, told HIPTV that the rhythmic sub-genre was shaped by her personal experiences and created a sound that stands out in contemporary African music.

She described Three-Step as unique due to its structure and rhythm, which she said were central to her artistic identity.

Despite being hailed as “the next big global voice from South Africa,” Azuredé said fame had never intimidated her.

She emphasised that entering the industry required vision, dedication, and resilience. “I’ve always envisioned myself as a successful artiste, and I understand that it comes with a lot of hard work,” she said.

Azuredé also addressed a viral Instagram Live incident where she appeared to be arrested by police.

She explained that the session was part of a marketing strategy for her latest single, Helele, but noted that online narratives could change rapidly. “People control what you put out there, so the story can shift fast,” she said.

The singer said her African tour was a crucial step in preparing audiences for her debut EP.
