During a revealing interview on The Nancy Isime Show, the “Gongo Aso” star said his condition was not medical and forced him to abandon his home.

“It wasn’t a medical condition,” he stressed. “Someone referred me to Ifa, and I just wished I had known Ifa earlier. That was when I found healing.”

In a moment of powerful honesty, 9ice described his transition from being spiritually undecided to fully embracing African traditional religion. “I’m not a Christian or a Muslim. I’m a Babalawo. I’m an African. I’m a traditionalist,” he declared.

Reflecting on icons like Fela Kuti, he urged Africans to stop mocking their roots and start respecting traditional beliefs. “Now, I understand why Fela went to Ogun. People mocked him. But he knew,” 9ice said.
