VeryDarkMan death prophecy sparks response as the activist urges prophets to focus on Nigeria’s future instead of personal predictions

VeryDarkMan death prophecy claims have been brushed aside by Nigerian activist and social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, who urged prophets to use their visions for the benefit of the nation.

Two clergymen one Nigerian and one Ghanaian had publicly claimed to receive divine revelations warning of imminent danger to VDM’s life, with one predicting it could occur in a river-related incident.

In a video posted on his social media, the outspoken critic said he was unfazed by the warnings, stressing that mortality is universal. “Death is inevitable and is coming for all of us,” he said.

“You’re seeing vision for me as if I’m important; I am not important.”

VDM challenged the prophets to direct their spiritual insight towards Nigeria’s progress instead. “Tell us a vision about our country. Tell us when Nigeria will be a great country,” he added.

The activist, known for his unfiltered commentary on political and social issues, has often clashed with individuals and institutions.

He is currently facing multiple legal cases, with his lawyer Deji Adeyanju recently cautioning him to be mindful of his confrontational approach.

Despite the controversy, VDM insists that such prophecies will not derail his advocacy work, reiterating his focus on speaking truth to power.
