Speaking on The Honest Bunch podcast, Vector Tha Viper disclosed that his 2021 collaboration with singer Goodgirl LA, titled Early Momo, reached a patient in a psychiatric home, contributing significantly to their mental health recovery.

“I released Early Momo and I got a message from a psychiatric home that said it helped somebody that was depressed,” Vector shared. “That’s a successful moment in somebody else’s life that I didn’t even intend to.”

The “King Kong” rapper used the moment to highlight what he believes defines true success in music — not just streams or chart positions, but meaningful emotional impact.

He also referenced his track Mercy with Seyi Vibez, noting that its rise in streaming numbers often coincides with periods when listeners appear to be deep in thought or struggling emotionally.

“Music should be spread across in such a way that whatever people are going through, they find the right record to fit that purpose,” he explained.
