Media Star Toolz Sparks Joy with Surprise Family Visit to Pilot Husband

Toolz surprise trip to pilot husband delights fans as she shares a heartfelt family visit with her sons to see their father at work

Former Nigerian on-air personality Tolulope Oniru, widely known as Toolz, has shared a heartfelt family moment after organising a surprise trip for her sons to visit their father, airline executive and pilot Tunde Demuren, at work in Benin City.

The media personality posted a video on Instagram documenting the journey, which captured the family’s departure from Lagos, their flight experience, and the emotional reunion between the children and their father at the airport.

The footage showed the boys’ excitement as they boarded the aircraft and later spotted their father, creating a touching and memorable encounter.

The family subsequently returned to Lagos, concluding what Toolz described as a special experience.

Expressing her delight, Toolz said she was pleased to create what she called a “beautiful memory” for her family, while also thanking aviation company Aero Contractors for facilitating the trip.

In a light-hearted remark, she joked about her children’s evolving career ambitions, referencing interests in becoming a pastor, pilot, and firefighter.

Beyond the surprise visit, Toolz has recently reflected on her family life, marking milestones and sharing candid insights into motherhood.

The former OAP celebrated her ninth traditional wedding anniversary by posting throwback images from the ceremony, attended by thousands of guests.

She also previously recalled nearly missing a flight to Dubai for her wedding due to oversleeping, noting how her husband’s calm response helped steady the situation, a moment she described as defining their dynamic.

In more candid reflections, Toolz has spoken about the pressures of modern parenting, describing it as overwhelming amid an abundance of often conflicting information.

She has also drawn attention for her firm stance against allowing her children to attend sleepovers, citing safety concerns.

Toolz, who married Demuren in June 2016, welcomed their first son in December 2018 and their second in 2020.
