Tinubu Celebrates Mbah’s Birthday, Praises Enugu Progress

President Bola Tinubu praises Enugu Governor Peter Mbah’s leadership and reforms as he marks his birthday

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Peter Mbah on his birthday, commending his leadership and developmental strides in Enugu State.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President praised Mbah’s performance since assuming office in 2023.

Tinubu highlighted the governor’s commitment to progressive governance and constitutional democracy, noting that his administration’s projects and programmes have driven significant transformation in the state.

The President also acknowledged Mbah’s background as a successful private-sector player in the oil and gas industry before his transition into public service.

“During my official visit to Enugu in 2025, I witnessed firsthand what good and competent leadership, as demonstrated by Mbah, can accomplish when anchored on vision and service to the people,” Tinubu stated.

He further commended the governor’s inclusive style of governance and collaboration with other South-East leaders, describing it as a catalyst for economic and political transformation in the region.

President Tinubu wished the Enugu governor good health and renewed strength as he continues to deliver on his mandate.
