Ogun Tech Hub launch unveils new Window on America in Abeokuta, offering free internet, tech tools, and training for youth development and entrepreneurship

Ogun Tech Hub launch has officially introduced the newest Window on America in Abeokuta, courtesy of the U.S. Mission Nigeria.

The digital hub, hosted at the Ogun Tech Hub, is designed to empower young Nigerians with free access to high-speed internet, modern computers, and a variety of learning programmes tailored to improve employability, entrepreneurship, leadership, and technology skills.

In a statement shared via its official social media channels, the U.S. Mission expressed excitement at the development, welcoming Abeokuta residents to the new space and reaffirming its commitment to youth-focused initiatives across Nigeria.

“Hello Abeokuta! We’re excited to announce the official opening of the Ogun Tech Hub Window on America,” the Mission stated.

“This vibrant space offers free high-speed internet, computers, and programmes to help young people gain employability, entrepreneurship, leadership, and tech skills.”

Ogun Tech Hub launch is a result of a strategic partnership between the U.S. Mission, the Ogun State Government, and GFunded Africa.

The collaborative effort brings global educational and developmental resources closer to the Nigerian youth in one of the country’s emerging digital ecosystems.

Special thanks were extended to @OGSG_Official (Ogun State Government) and @GFunded_Africa for their support in making the project a reality.

Windows on America are U.S. government-sponsored spaces located around the world, serving as cultural and educational resource centres.

These hubs are designed to promote mutual understanding by offering resources about American culture, society, and values while building capacity among local communities.
