Afrobeats star Ruger has insisted he has no quarrel with Davido, offering a firm clarification after social media users accused him of aligning with rival camps in the ongoing fan-driven feud between Davido and Wizkid.

Speaking through multiple posts, he stressed that Ruger Denies Davido Rift because he holds nothing but affection and respect for the award winning singer.

The controversy began when a user urged Ruger to apologise to Davido, claiming his music would climb charts only after doing so.

Ruger responded by questioning the basis of such accusations, asking whether Davido had ever said he wronged him in any way.

He explained that his relationship with Davido remains warm and that there had never been any dispute requiring an apology. He noted that members of Davido’s team still share his work, which to him is proof that no tension exists.

The artiste went further to say he would only believe there was a genuine issue if Davido personally stated so, either publicly or privately.
