Qdot released the track titled “28 of Sept” in January 2026, describing the song as a deeply personal reflection on the night gunmen invaded his residence and left him shaken, fearful and struggling with anxiety months later.

The singer said the attackers held him at gunpoint, stole phones and laptops, emptied his bank accounts and seized control of his social media platforms during the incident.

Qdot described the experience as the most terrifying moment of his life and said the psychological effects remain intense.

In a post on X, the artist said he wakes up every night at about 2.30am in fear and has been unable to sleep peacefully since the attack.

The musician said the song explores themes of survival, gratitude, faith and resilience, while also serving as a personal plea for emotional recovery and social awareness.

Qdot also called on government authorities and security agencies to take stronger action to curb violent crime and protect citizens.

The singer said the continued fear he experiences reflects the broader insecurity faced by many Nigerians and urged leaders to prioritise public safety.
