Portable calls out Olamide over London OVO snub

Portable Olamide call-out: Singer questions why he wasn’t invited to rapper’s OVO Wembley show, claiming he gave Olamide global recognition.

Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has publicly challenged music executive and rapper Olamide over his exclusion from the recent OVO Wembley Arena show in London.

Portable claimed in a viral video that Olamide ignored him despite their collaboration on the hit track “Zazoo.”

Portable stated, “Olamide didn’t even shoot the Zazoo video with me; he didn’t stand beside me in the visuals.

I’m the one who gave Olamide international recognition.

Zazoo made Olamide. Did I sleep with his wife? Why didn’t he call me for his show?”

The singer contrasted his treatment by Olamide with that of Davido, asserting, “Davido wanted to give me a verse. He told me I’m the best among the rest in the whole world. Davido loves me, and he’s proud of me.”

Portable further added, “Olamide and I both sang Zazoo.

I didn’t offend him, yet he stopped replying to my messages.

He refused to take me to London.

Skepta and I also sang Tony Montana, and he invited me to London.

Tell Olamide to reply to me so he won’t regret it in the future.”

This is not the first time Portable has publicly aired grievances regarding Olamide.

In November 2024, during a TikTok live session, he insisted that although Olamide supported him, he had already gained fame independently.

Olamide, meanwhile, has remained silent regarding Portable’s claims, instead focusing on the acclaim for his sold-out Wembley performance.

During the show, he responded to critics questioning his fan base, remarking, “And they said I don’t have fans anymore…” as the audience sang along to hits including his 2018 track “Stupid Love.”
