Ademola shared the message on Instagram alongside a candlelight photograph, expressing grief over the current situation and calling on the government to take decisive action to safeguard lives.

“We are grieving at this moment! Please help us! Nigerian government, all we ask for at this juncture is adequate protection for our lives! It should be the least on our priorities, but now it is our major priority,” the actor wrote.

The powerful message has added to a growing chorus of voices within the Nigerian entertainment industry calling for stronger security measures and urgent intervention from authorities.

Actor Adeniyi Johnson recently expressed frustration over the worsening security situation, questioning why many Nigerians now live in fear.

He lamented the contrast between promises of peace and the reality faced by citizens, while urging the government to take necessary steps to restore confidence and safety.

Award-winning actress Funke Akindele also voiced her heartbreak, calling on the government to do more to protect children and secure schools.

Funke Akindele said no family should be forced to live in fear and extended prayers to affected families.

Similarly, actor Lateef Adedimeji urged leaders to address the ongoing crises confronting the nation.

He criticised what he described as a disconnect between political activities and the suffering of innocent citizens, particularly children caught in violent situations.

Actor Kunle Remi highlighted the contrast between continued election preparations and the tragedies affecting communities across the country.

Kunle Remi warned against becoming desensitised to loss and suffering, describing the situation as deeply troubling.

Muyiwa Ademola appeals to government also echoes concerns raised by actress Ruth Kadiri, who publicly appealed to President Bola Tinubu to tackle the rising death toll linked to insecurity. Ruth Kadiri argued that many Nigerians no longer feel safe and called for urgent measures to protect lives and property.

Actress Lala Akindoju likewise drew attention to the increasing reports of killings and kidnappings.

Lala Akindoju questioned who was speaking for citizens living in fear and anguish, stressing that ordinary Nigerians often feel powerless in the face of persistent security challenges.

The growing intervention by prominent Nollywood figures underscores mounting public concern over security issues and reflects broader calls for effective solutions to protect communities across Nigeria.
