Reality TV star and actress Mercy Eke has dismissed viral claims suggesting she intends to have a child outside marriage, describing the reports as false.

The BBNaija 2019 winner took to X on Tuesday to refute statements attributed to her, which claimed she planned to have a child this year but abandoned the idea due to unforeseen circumstances.

The reports also allegedly quoted Eke as saying she could comfortably support three children outside wedlock.

In her post, Eke denied making such remarks or granting any interview on the subject.

She accompanied her statement with an anger emoji and urged the newspaper that published the report to remove it immediately.

“Stop spreading fake news about me. I never said this or granted any interview,” she wrote, stressing the falsehood of the claims.
