The surprise, which took place at a cinema screening of the movie, involved a flipping troupe orchestrated by Brain Jotter.

Omotola expressed her astonishment and praised the creative gesture.

“@brainjotter shocked me! Brought a flipping troupe! What? We had fun though! He said it’s your 30th anniversary and debut movie! So we’re doing something outside the box!” Omotola posted online, adding that the event had a charitable dimension, with all ticket proceeds directed to the education of children from underserved communities.

The premiere, held at the Alliance Franchise in Ikoyi, Lagos, drew an array of celebrities including Rita Dominic, Toke Makinwa, and Nosa Rex, as well as former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Omotola credited God for the milestone and thanked fans for their support, noting that the movie would be in cinemas nationwide from March 6.

In a related gesture, Omotola recently gifted Nosa Rex flowers on set, praising his professionalism and the positive energy he brings to productions.

The award-winning actress has previously stirred conversation by rejecting the common practice of dancing to promote films, insisting on quality-driven marketing instead.

She also highlighted disparities between Nollywood and Hollywood, revealing that she receives residual payments in the United States after four years of work, unlike in Nigeria, where she has spent three decades without such benefits.
