The 23-year-old, who emerged winner of Big Brother Naija Season 10, made the statement shortly after receiving her ₦150 million cash prize and a brand-new SUV at a ceremony in Lagos on Tuesday.

“I think people saw a lot of my acting side while I was in the house. Even my fellow housemates said I’m a natural actress. I’m ready to do more,” Imisi told journalists.

Her performance on the show, which showcased her vibrant personality and natural screen presence, has sparked renewed interest in her pursuit of an acting career.

“Funke Akindele is my number one mentor. I really hope to work with her one day,” she revealed. “I also admire Bimbo Ademoye and Bolaji Ogunmola—they inspire me a lot.”

The Imisi BBNaija journey captured the hearts of fans across Nigeria, with many praising her authenticity and charm. Speaking on the overwhelming support she’s received, she said: “I’m still trying to process everything. The love has been massive.”

Responding to suggestions that ethnic loyalty influenced her win, Imisi said: “Maybe. Yoruba people are very supportive of their own, so that might’ve played a role. But honestly, I believe people connected with my realness and vulnerability.”

She also acknowledged the role her Celestial Church community played in her victory, offering prayers and support throughout the show.

With fame now at her doorstep, Imisi is focused on building a sustainable career in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

“Fame is new to me, but I’m ready to learn and grow. I’ll seek mentorship and be intentional about my next steps,” she said.
