Eniola Badmus denies allegations linking her to exploitation, calling viral claims false and warning authorities will intervene

Nollywood actress and Special Adviser to the House Speaker on Social Events and Public Hearings, Eniola Badmus, has refuted a viral social media post labelling her a ‘private pimp’, the actress confirmed in Lagos on 26 February 2026.

The post circulating on 𝕏 accused Badmus of connecting young women to directors, movie executives, and politicians for exploitation, suggesting the network assisted her entry into politics.

In response, Badmus described the claims as “false accusations” designed to attract attention. She warned that authorities would intervene, stating, “This is the attention you’ve been craving for, so let’s get into it…. this is a false accusation and Authorities will step in…..Let it be known that we do not forgive in this zone.”

This is not the first time the actress has faced similar claims. In 2023, a TikTok user made related allegations. Badmus rejected an apology, filed a petition, and the accuser was later convicted of cyberbullying with an option for a fine.

Industry observers have expressed concern over the rapid spread of unverified claims online, noting the impact on reputations and political careers. Badmus continues her duties as Special Adviser while maintaining an active presence in Nollywood.
