The Nollywood actress and political aide made this strong appeal following disturbing comments made by a social media influencer.

Taking to her Instagram, Badmus voiced concern over how online platforms are being used to incite violence and hatred.

“It’s truly disheartening to see a social media influencer use their platform to wish death on anyone at all,” she wrote.

“No matter your political views, we must never let hate override our humanity.”

Badmus, who currently serves as Special Assistant on Social Events and Public Hearing to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, stressed the importance of respectful engagement in national discourse.

“As Nigerians, we are better than this,” she added. “Let’s choose decency over division.”

Her message comes at a time when the online space has become increasingly toxic, with political tensions and personal attacks overshadowing constructive dialogue.

By using her platform to speak out, Eniola Badmus is pushing back against the trend of destructive online behaviour.

Observers praised her for taking a public stand, with one fan commenting, “You said what needed to be said. We need more voices like yours.”
