Rising Nollywood actor Ebisan Arayi is emerging as a fresh voice in the Nigerian film industry, inspiring a new generation of talent, in Lagos on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Arayi, known for roles in Hey You, Baby Farm, and Perfect Neighbour, reflected on his early passion for acting, revealing that his career began at age 10 on Charly Boy’s Kiddies Show.

He explained that the experience ignited his desire to continue acting despite parental encouragement to focus on academics.

“My mum has been a big inspiration. Iyabo Lawani, she used to host Maggi Family Menu for over 15-20 years and is a veteran actress. That motivated me even more,” Arayi said, highlighting the role of family in nurturing his passion.

The actor praised Nollywood’s evolution, noting its growing global recognition and the rise of young directors and producers delivering exceptional work.

“Many conversations are happening around Nollywood, and what excites me is that the world is now seeing it more than ever. A lot of new talent is emerging, and that’s what excites me the most,” he added.
