Prince Akim Edeh, National President of the Deejays Association of Nigeria, issued a statement on Thursday clarifying that no directive had been given to restrict Burna Boy’s music across the country.

Prince Akim said the association remains committed to professionalism and strongly opposes any form of violence within the entertainment industry.

He added that the body is closely monitoring ongoing investigations into the incident.

DJAN’s Burna Boy ban denial comes amid growing speculation online that the association had taken disciplinary action against the Grammy winning artist.

In a further clarification, the association disclosed that DJ Tunez is not a registered member, distancing itself from the reported altercation.
