Popular Nigerian Fuji disc jockey, Kudirat Gbemisola, professionally known as DJ Kulet, has revealed that she once engaged in prostitution before turning her life around after a spiritual encounter that she says transformed her destiny.

DJ Kulet transformation story surfaced on Sunday, April 20, 2026, during a church service where she gave a personal testimony about her past struggles and eventual redemption in Surulere, Lagos State.

Speaking in a now-viral video circulating on social media, DJ Kulet described her early life experiences in Surulere and Lawanson, stating that she was once homeless and involved in prostitution before her life changed.

She said her journey from hardship to success is a testament to what she described as divine intervention, adding that her past no longer defines her present.

“I just want to say thank you Jesus because my story here in Surulere was a very bad one… But I repent, and God removed me from the gutter,” she said during the testimony.

In a detailed post shared on her Instagram page on Monday morning, DJ Kulet reflected on what she described as a difficult past, explaining how she moved from unstable living conditions to gradually achieving stability through her DJ career.

She recounted periods of homelessness and challenging housing conditions before eventually progressing to a more comfortable home, which she attributed to her work and what she believes to be divine favour.

According to her, she later acquired a four-bedroom ensuite apartment in Surulere and subsequently purchased her own house in the same area without financial assistance linked to her past lifestyle.

DJ Kulet also described her journey as one of transformation, stating that her experiences have now become a testimony of hope and change.
